Lucifer is HILARIOUS right now. He is...not super given to having morals in the traditional sense that most people do, but he has a very certain sense of right and wrong about some things. I have yet to essay on this because i suck enormously, but getting the memory about getting fireballed out of the sky, having a bitchfight with Death, and then taking Elaine's life in exchange for his has simultaneously thrown him and enforced his principles. He's not...entirely zen with having tricked a little girl who obviously trusted him, but man they all seemed to think it was pretty goddamn important he come back, etc. And he remembers having a very distinct sense of ownership and responsibility toward the world he was fighting in.
He's wondering what the fuck he's doing here, essentially, if he's that important. On the other hand, the fact that he was protecting a world as though it was his (cause it is, but he's not...sure about that) gives him a reason to at least consider doing things for the Personae that he didn't have before. And there's some other stuff, like how his disregard for his body is not going to get any better now that he remembers being incinerated and etc, but that hasn't become relevant yet. He has a clear remember of being seated in his power and exercising it now, so it bugs him a little that he doesn't have it, but that's a mosquito in the face of all the other crap.
He is now righteously pissed about the whole thing with Shield, although he fully intends to let someone else deal with it. Despite not really knowing what his methods are, he's kiiinda sure that the rest of Sterling would miss his point about what Shield did if he used them. When the Personae were handing down morality, such as it was, that bothered him less for some reason. Possibly it was the power balance or the method, i'm not sure. But the 'you done bad and now i will punish you until you feel bad' business chaps his ass.
Something is niggling him about this constantly being on the 'right' side of things, and he's generally been fairly passive because it hasn't seemed worth it to throw his weight around when things weren't bothering him. That may change, depending on how things go in the future.
I'm fairly sure he also knows at least one of his names now, but he isn't sharing yet.
